Physiotherapist
Founder of the IEP
The Institute of Equine Physiotherapy was founded by Animal Physiotherapist Hannah Fitzsimons.
Hannah initially trained as a Veterinary Nurse at University College Dublin and worked as a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a few years. During this time, she identified a gap in care for animal musculoskeletal health, especially post-injury and post-surgery. To address this, she pursued a Master’s degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Writtle University in the UK. Initially treating both horses and dogs, Hannah now focuses exclusively on equine physiotherapy, providing specialised care and CPD training for veterinary professionals and owners. As a horse owner and lover, she is deeply passionate about improving horse welfare and quality of life.
We’re proud of how effective our physiotherapeutic treatments are.
